When to reach for this template

GATE: true max ONLY IF the week-6 RPE-8 single beat week 4's AND no session ended on the technical stop rule. Max branch — ramp in singles, then roughly 90%, 95%, and attempts near 100% and 102-103%; three attempts maximum, stop on the first miss. Safe branch — stop at the first single reading RPE 9 and report an estimated max from it; do not take a second. Both branches: 4-5 min between attempts, competition setup, and no back-off, row or grip work after. The stop rule still applies.

01When should I use the Terminal Test — Deadlift template?

GATE: true max ONLY IF the week-6 RPE-8 single beat week 4's AND no session ended on the technical stop rule. Add it to your week in Squatly and the coach schedules it, sets the loads from your training, and tells you when to move up.

02How many working sets is Terminal Test — Deadlift, and how long does it take?

Terminal Test — Deadlift runs 1 movement and about 3 working sets, roughly 36 minutes once warm-ups are in. The full per-exercise scheme — sets, reps or RPE, and rest — is in the session table above.

03What makes the Deadlift version different?

Terminal Test — Deadlift is the deadlift cut of this family — same method, but the movement order, set scheme, and emphasis are tuned for it. The session table shows exactly what changes; the coach sets the loads and drives the progression either way.
