Delete Your Squatly Account
Last updated: August 20, 2026
Squatly is published by Osgiliath Labs, LLC. This page explains how to delete your Squatly account, exactly what is deleted when you do, and what is retained and for how long. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
How to Delete Your Account
From the app
- Open Squatly and go to Settings
- Tap Profile, then Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Deletion takes effect immediately: the app clears your data, our servers delete your cloud data and sign-in identity, and you are signed out. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
If you can't access the app
Email support@squatly.app from the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify that the request comes from the account owner and process the deletion. This works even if you have already uninstalled the app or can no longer sign in.
What Is Deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes from our servers:
- Your account and sign-in identity (email/password or Apple/Google sign-in)
- All workout history, exercises, sets, and personal records
- Your workout templates and training programs
- Body metrics and progress photos
- All AI coaching conversations and coach memory
- All daily health records read from Apple Health — these are deleted immediately as part of account deletion, ahead of the 24-month retention period that would otherwise apply (see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy)
- Connected-service credentials we hold, such as Strava tokens; if you signed in with Apple, we also revoke the Sign in with Apple token with Apple
- Push notification tokens and app settings stored on our servers
Local data on your device is cleared from active use during deletion and any remaining inert files are removed when you uninstall the app.
What Is Kept, and for How Long
- Deletion processing window — deletion is processed within 30 days. Some data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before automatic expiration, after which it is gone entirely. This matches Section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
- Purchase and billing records — subscription purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and we never see your payment details. Deleting your Squatly account does not delete your purchase history with Apple or Google, which those stores retain under their own policies. Transaction records held by our subscription-management provider (RevenueCat) may be retained as required for accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes.
Nothing else is kept: we retain no workout, health, coaching, or photo data after the deletion and backup-expiration windows above.
Delete Data Without Deleting Your Account
You can ask us to delete some or all of the data Squatly holds about you without deleting your account. Today this is a request we handle for you — there is no in-app control for partial deletion yet.
How to request it
- Email support@squatly.app from the email address associated with your account
- Say what you want deleted — for example your progress photos, your coaching conversations, your Apple Health records, or a specific date range of workouts
- We verify that the request comes from the account owner, delete the requested data from our servers, and confirm by email
What is deleted, what is kept
- The data you name in the request is permanently deleted. We respond to requests within 30 days. Health-data deletion is completed within 45 days, as promised in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy; disconnecting Apple Health in the app also stops new collection at any time.
- Your account, and any data your request does not cover, are kept and keep working as before. The backup-expiration and purchase-record retention described above apply to partial deletions too.
